Consolidation of servers through virtualization will increase ROI on newly purchased hardware, while lowering the overall resources used by decommissioning previous physical servers. Windows Containers will allow for multiple applications to be hosted from the server with finite resources, essentially allowing corporations to do more with less.

The move to add Linux support and management of Linux servers, including container support will also affect Linux admins that run mixed networks in a hybrid format for both Linux and Windows. To a lesser degree, users will be affected given the move to virtualization and containerization of web-based software applications, legacy applications, and how the technology allows for faster deployment and better performance—even on existing hardware.

The general public has been downloading it for a while. From a distance, there is not much difference between Windows Server and its version, mainly because most of the features are the same and it is based on the same principles as the version.

However, there are some improvements in the previous features, and some new features have been added. Windows Server was the fastest server ever produced by Microsoft when launched. Windows Server Identity and similar courses helped to make people fluent in this server. The version takes it another step forward by improving core areas like security, hybrid, hyper-convergence, and the application platform.

This is an advanced level certification course which aims to guide IT experts regarding the techniques which they can use to improve the security of the IT infrastructure which they administer. Windows Server is based on a hybrid approach for data movement, which was lacking in the version. This means that the cloud solution can work simultaneously with the on-premise version. While Windows Server installation was simple and used Active Directory for data backup, the version uses AI and the IoT to synchronize and backup data in a more secure way.

Moreover, the version integrates with Project Honolulu, which gives a flexible platform to the user. The Windows Server is a leap over the version when it comes to security.
